报告题目:Interacting Topological Insulator and connections to the Standard Model of Particle Physics

报告摘要:In the last few years a lot of progresses have been made in understanding the role of interaction in topological insulators (TI) and topological superconductors (TSC). Now we understand that interaction can reduce the classification of many TI and TSC from $Z$ classification to $Z_8$ and $Z_16$ classification. In this talk I hope to demonstrate that the interaction-reduced classification of TI and TSC provides us with a possible lattice regularization of the Standard Model of particle physics. This conclusion is supported by both analytical study and also numerical evidences, with joint efforts from condensed matter and lattice QCD community.
