教授，博士生导师。1987年毕业于成都科技大学应用物理系，1994年和1998年分别在成都科技大学（四川大学）原子与分子物理研究所获理学硕士和博士学位。1987年本科毕业后到四川建材学院（现西南科技大学）任教，1997年至今在四川大学工作。现任四川大学原子与分子物理研究所副所长，四川省物理学会原子与分子物理专委会副主任，成都市物理学会常务理事。

自1991年起一直从事原子与分子物理、化学物理等学科的研究工作，涉及热稠密等离子体中的原子结构与动力学过程，等离子体X-ray光谱模拟、原子分子团簇结构与性质、重元素化合物分子结构与光谱、表面原子分子过程、热电材料等的第一性原理计算、吸波复合功能材料等领域。先后承担了国家自然科学基金、863高技术等近20项；在Phys Rev A, J Chem Phys, J Phys B期刊发表论文100多篇，其中SCI、EI收录60余篇；申请发明专利1项，获教育部科技进步三等奖1项等。
